VISUAL STORY | PORTO MIGGIANO

Just south of Santa Cesarea Terme, appears the small cove of Porto Miggiano.
One can reach the small beach surrounded by rocks simply walking along a short trail.

What is the fatal charm of Italy? What do we find there that can be found nowhere else? I believe it is a certain permission to be human, which other places, other countries, lost long ago.

NATURAL SWIMMING POOL

The bay is a large and wonderful natural swimming pool.  The sea bed is mostly sandy and water becomes soon deep, up to two metres and half and the mix of sand and rock makes water crystal clear, creating a corner of paradise with unforgettable colours.

THE CLIFFS

The cliffs, almost twenty metres high and dropping sheer into the turquoise sea, overlook the small tourist port.

ORANGE ROCKS, CLEAR BLUE WATER

The small sandy and public beach, nestled in a small rocky bay, lapped by the crystal clear water, offers a wild and unspoiled landscape.

endless walks

The sea bed is sandy and, in the north side of the bay, walking a few metres on the rock, there are small flat areas on the cliff, from where it is possible to dive.

MAGICAL ATMOSPHERE

In the north and in the south of the bay, the sea stacks, shaped by the water, come out of the crystal clear sea, creating a magical atmosphere. This part of the coast is also jagged, full of caves and small caves to visit.
